      TURRET-STYLE TOOL CHANGER

      The ultra-fast, turret-style tool changers on the DC series machines yield tool-to-tool times as fast as 1.25 seconds, and chip-to-chip times as fast as 2.25 seconds to minimize cut-to-cut times and shorten cycle times. The 30-taper tool changer holds 21 tools, and the 40-taper tool changer holds 20 tools. Both feature a powerful servo drive system for speed and reliability.

       

      HIGH-PERFORMANCE SPINDLES

      All DC series machines are equipped with a high-performance grease-packed spindle powered by a reliable Haas inline direct-drive system. The spindle cartridge is liquid cooled for thermal stability. The Haas inline direct-drive system provides high accel/decel rates to minimize cut-to-cut times, and allows high-speed rigid tapping  to reduce cycle times.

      COOLANT FLUSH & REAR CHIP DISCHARGE

      Steeply sloped waycovers and angled internal sheet metal funnel chips into the side troughs, and powerful front washdown nozzles flush them to the rear of the machine.

      Rear chip discharge allows machines to be placed side-by-side to maximize shop space, and provides easy side access for automation systems.
