Additional Items can be added to quotes in HST to display discounts, freight charges, or other items added to quotes.  The attached presentation explains the process to create and edit pre-populated Additional Items.

The below link opens a spreadsheet populated with Value Option Package (VOP) discounts.  This file can be used to upload pre-populated Additional Items discounts for each VOP.  To upload this file, convert it to CSV format and follow the steps in the attached presentation.  When quoting a VOP from the Packages section of the price list in HST, add the corresponding VOP Additional Item discount to your quote.  This will let you show the correct discount for the VOP quoted.

In response to the uncertainty caused by the recent tariff situation, we made the decision to schedule a partial factory shutdown during the week of July 4th. This adjustment was made in conjunction with the July 4th Holiday, which shortened the factory’s regular week. By eliminating these four days of production, we are able to better balance production with demand during these uncertain times.

The production schedule adjustment was implemented in April, and no machines have been scheduled for the affected four days. Therefore, there is no change to the current open order report. Normal operations will continue for all departments, including service, service parts, sales, marketing, finance, and engineering.

For HFOs, particularly those in North America or export countries other than Haas Europe, it is imperative to schedule your machine pickups for this month by June 27th at the latest.

This short-term solution was implemented to address the uncertainty in machine demand due to the tariff situation. Haas remains committed to expanding its business this year.

An error has been found in the VOP PC code, PC-1352.  When applying this PC code to a multi-machine order where both machines and configurations are identical, the PC code will only apply the discount to one machine.  This error only occurs when ordering multiple quantities of the same configuration.  The PC code will apply correctly to a multi-machine order if the VOPs or machines are different.

To get around this error, submit two separate orders for the same machine configuration.  Apply the VOP PC code (PC-1352) to each order.  Then submit a SPR to apply the multi-machine discount to each order.

Here is a breakdown of when this error occurs and when the PC code works correctly:

• If ordering two VF-2, each with VOP-A, the PC code will incorrectly discount only one machine

• If ordering two VF-2, one with VOP-A and one with VOP-B, the PC code will work correctly

• If ordering a VF-2 with a VOP and a ST-10 with a VOP, the PC code will work correctly

• The redesign of the ST-40L/45L is released in all regions
• New AUGER-FRNT DISCHARGE and AUGER-SIDE DISCHARGE options have replaced the AUGER option on DT-3 and DM-3 in all regions
• VOP packages are now released in all regions except Europe and China
• AIR-OIL BLAST is now standard on SR-3015P and SR-4020P in all regions
• ROBOT PKG-3 and ROBOT PKG-50KG have been discontinued and are no longer available in all regions
• The MILL SPDL C-AXIS option has been removed from the GM-2 in all regions

While there will be a few machine shipments that will be received on Tuesday, May 27th, these will primarily be catch-up operations. HFOs are required to schedule their pickups by Friday, May 23rd.
