Pallet-Changing Vertical Machining Centers

The Haas VC Series VMCs combine the versatility of a small VF Series vertical machining center with the pallet-changing ability of our EC-400 HMC. The fully integrated pallet changer allows you to set up jobs on one pallet, while you’re running parts on the other pallet. For additional productivity overnight, simply load up both pallets and push Cycle Start before heading home.

Boost Throughput, Minimize Non-Cutting Time

Whether you choose the VC-400/SS, or our pallet-pool system for VF-2 series machines, the pallet changing capability allows you to machine parts on one pallet while loading/unloading parts on another, boosting throughput and minimizing non-cutting time. For high-volume production, simply run the same job on multiple pallets. For more flexibility or high-mix/low-volume work, just set up different jobs on each pallet.

Dual-Pallet Capability

The pallet-changing capability of the Haas VC-400 and VC-400SS allows you to machine parts on one pallet while loading/unloading parts on the other, boosting throughput and minimizing non-cutting time. Run the same job on both pallets for high-volume production, or set up different jobs on each pallet for more flexibility. Not compatible with 4th- and 5th-axis options.

Whether you’re doing high-volume production runs, high-mix/low volume machining, or just want to run lights-out, you can boost the productivity of your VC-400 with our fully integrated 6+1 pallet pool. NOTE: The Pallet Pool requires the optional 50+1 side-mount tool changer. Not field installable. Must be ordered with a new VC-400.
