This procedure shows how to anchor the various components of the Haas Cobot package.

Materials needed to install anchors:

• 09-0767 - 1/2" Drop-In Anchor 4-Pack
• 09-0766 - 5/8" Anchor Drill with Brush
• 09-0768 - 1/2" Drop-In Anchor Set Tool
• 09-0769 - 1/2-13 x 5/8 SHCS 4-Pack
• 09-0770 - 1/2-13 x 1-1/4 SHCS 4-Pack

The 1/2" x 5/8" SHCS (09-0769) [1] can be used to anchor:

• 09-0942 - Rolling Parts Table 
• 09-0744 - HC5 Parts Table

• 09-0611 - Cobot Telescoping Stand 24-36"
• 09-0954 - Light Curtain Mounting Plate
• 09-0958 - Part Flip Station

Use the 5/8" anchor drill (09-0766) to drill the anchor holes in the ground. Drill to the depth of 2.0" so that the anchor can be inserted.

Important: Make sure the drill is perpendicular to the foundation.

Drop the anchors [1] into the drilled holes.

Use a hammer [2] to make sure that the anchors are flush with the foundation as shown in image [3].

Use the setting tool [1] and hammer [2] to seat each anchor in the concrete.

Make sure that the anchors are seated flush [3]. use the setting tool as a gauge.

Important: Make sure that the anchor is not overdriven too far into the hole. The anchors need to be flush with the foundation.

Refer to the sections below for where to place each anchor and what hardware to use depending on the item being anchored.

Position the rolling parts table [1] in the desired location.

Clamp the anchor plates [2] to the parts table using the locking clamps [3].

Mark the 5 anchor locations [4] that will hold the anchor plates [2] in position.

After marking these locations, move the parts table out of the way so that the anchors can be set.

Refer to the top section for how to set the anchors in the foundation.

Place the parts table back over the anchors that were drilled.

Secure the anchor plates [1] to the ground using the 1/2" x 5/8" SHCS and washers [2] to fasten to the anchors.

Note: The anchors are not shown in the image since they are installed beneath the foundation. 

Once the stand is set in it's desired position, mark the 4 spots for the drop-in anchors.

Once marked move the stand in order to install the anchors.

Refer to the section above for how to install the drop-in expansion anchors.

After the anchors are installed, fasten the stand [1] to the foundation using the 4 1/2" x 1 1/4" SHCS and washers [2].

Note: The anchors are not shown in the image since they are installed beneath the foundation. 

Place the part flip station [1] in the desired position. 

Once in position, mark the 4 mounting locations [2]. These will be the location for where the anchors are installed.

Move the part flip station out of the way to install the anchors.

Refer to the top section for how to set the anchors in the foundation.

After the anchors have been dropped into position, place the part flip station back to it's desired position over the anchors.

Fasten the part flip station base [1] to the anchors in the foundation using the 4 1/2" x 1 1/4" SHCS [2].

Note: The anchors are not shown in the image since they are dropped into the foundation.

To anchor the light curtain posts in position, place the light curtain in it's desired position.

Note: For multi-sided light curtains, make sure that they are aligned properly before anchoring. Refer to the Light Curtain - Installation for instructions on how to align them properly.

On the light curtain mounting plate [1] mark the locations of the 4 anchoring locations [2].

Once marked, move the light curtain so that the anchors can be installed.

Refer to the top section for how to set the anchors in the foundation.

After the anchors have been set, move the light curtain posts back into position so that the mounting plate [1] is aligned with the anchors.

Use the 4 1/2" x 1 1/4" SHCS and washers [2] to fasten the mounting plate to the anchors.
